Dr. Glenn Phillips, Jr. is the Senior Minister. He has served the church since September, 1998. He is a graduate of Gardner-Webb University and has a Doctor of Ministry degree from Drew University. He is currently serving on the Ministerial Boards at Campbell and Wingate Universities. Glenn loves all sports, missions and church! He is married to Allyson and has two children, Josh, a student at Mount Olive College, and Rob, a student athlete at the University of South Alabama |

The Reverend Scott Thrailkill is Associate Minister of Christian Education and Youth. Scott, his wife Michelle, and daughter Madison came to First Baptist in May of 2000. He is a graduate of Shorter College in Rome, GA, and has a Master of Divinity degree from Southern Seminary. Scott served churches in Kentucky, North Carolina, and Georgia before coming to Goldsboro. |

The Reverend Fred L. Kelly is Associate Minister-Music. Fred is a native of Wilmington, NC and came to First Baptist Church in August, 1997. He and Kathy live in Wilmington and have four daughters and six grandchildren. Fred is a graduate of Campbell University and of Westminster Choir College. He has been on Church Staffs in North Carolina and Virginia and was in Church Music with the Baptist Sunday School Board in Nashville for nineteen years.

 Associate Minister of Children and Preschool Gayle Justice
is our Associate Minister of Children and Preschool.
Gayle has an undergraduate degree in nutrition from Ohio
University and her certificate in Children's Ministries from
Campbell University. Her family includes husband Tom,
and two children; Daughter Erin and husband Joe and new
grandson Griffin and Andrew.
